Cancellation Policy

At CHAIRLY, we understand that sometimes you may change your mind after placing an order. This policy explains your rights and how to cancel an order in compliance with UK consumer protection laws.

1. Cancelling Before Dispatch

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched for a full refund, including any delivery costs you have paid.
To cancel before dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible by email or phone (see contact details below).

2. Cancelling After Dispatch (Cooling-Off Period)

If your order has already shipped, you still have the right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
This right allows you to cancel within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods.
To exercise this right:

Notify us in writing (email is sufficient) within the 14-day period.
Return the goods to us in their original condition within 14 days of notifying us.
Once we receive the returned goods, we will issue a refund within 14 days.

3. Items Exempt from Cancellation

Under UK law, the right to cancel does not apply to:

Personalised or custom-made items
Perishable goods (e.g., food)
Sealed items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once unsealed (e.g., certain cosmetics)

4. Refund Method

Refunds will be made to the original payment method used for the purchase.
If you used a gift card or store credit, the refund will be reissued as store credit.

5. Return Shipping Costs

If you cancel after dispatch, you are responsible for return shipping costs unless the goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described.
